The Automated Technology Group has launched an operation in Chester in order to enhance the service it offers to clients in the Northwest. Based at the Wood Group office at Thornton Science Park, the ATG engineers will be particularly focused on customers in the automotive industry.

Edwin DerryCommented Edwin Derry, Resource Strategy Director for The Automated Technology Group (pictured), “Initially, our resources at Chester will be supporting Jaguar Land Rover at its Halewood site, where we have recently won an order for automation on the production line of the new Range Rover Evoque. We will, however, be adding a further eight members of staff – four experienced engineers and four graduates or trainees – to the Chester premises over the coming months.”
