The Automated Technology Group’s Slovakian subsidiary, ATG s.r.o., is delighted to have achieved approval from the government’s Technical Inspection department, allowing the company to trade as a fully operational electrical business in Slovakia.
Commented Darren Ashford (pictured), Managing Director of ATG Slovakia, “As you would expect, there have been a number of hurdles to overcome in establishing our business in Slovakia and – after weeks of hard work – we are really pleased to have achieved this status. It essentially means that we comply with all local and EU standards and are allowed to design, manufacture, install, test and commission all systems of a low voltage nature.” He added, “I would like to take this opportunity to thank all colleagues and associates who have assisted in gaining this approval. The information will now be transposed onto the ‘Commercial Register’, as we enter another phase in our development into the European market.”
The subsidiary – which was established in 2015 and moved into brand-new premises in Nitra earlier this year – has recently completed a robot-programming project in Slovakia for PSA Group, Europe’s number two automotive manufacturer and owner of the Peugeot and Citroën brands, at the company’s Trnava plant.
“We are ideally located and skilled to support automation projects for the large number high-tech and automotive companies in Slovakia and the surrounding European region,” said Darren Ashford.
