Following a rigorous assessment of its health and safety policies and practices, The Automated Technology Group has been awarded Safecontractor status.

One of the fastest growing health and safety assessment schemes in the UK, Safecontractor is a leading third party accreditation scheme that recognises very high standards in health and safety management amongst UK contractors.

Explained Darren Ashford, Installations Director for The Automated Technology Group, “We are delighted to have achieved this prestigious accreditation. It clearly demonstrates to clients and prospective customers the high standards we set for health and safety and the accolade will certainly assist us in terms of prequalification requirements for future projects.”

John Kinge, Technical Director of Safecontractor said, “Major organisations simply cannot afford to run the risk of employing contractors who are not able to prove that they have sound health and safety policies in place. More companies need to understand the importance of adopting good risk management in the way that The Automated Technology Group has done. The firm’s high standard has set an example which hopefully will be followed by other companies within the sector.”
